Ingredients:
Medium/ large size brinjal – 250 gms, wash, cut into 1/3 inch roundels, Immerse them in water mixed with little salt and haldi, Keep them aside,
Salt,
Haldi – 1/8 tsp,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/4 tsp,
Red chilli powder – 1/4 tsp,
Maggi masala magic – 1 packet,
Rice flour – 1 Tablesp,
Oil – 2 to 3 tablesp,
Besan – 2 tsp,
Very finely chopped coriander leaves – 2 tsp.
Method:
1).Mix all masala powders, maggi masala powder, salt, besan, rice flour, ginger garlic paste, chopped coriander leaves, and add little water to make a paste.
2).Drain the brinjal pieces from water and gently smear the pieces with prepared masala paste and keep them aside for 15 minutes.
2).Take a grill pan ( if available ), drizzle 2 tsp of oil. Arrange brinjal pieces on the pan with out overlapping.
3).Fry one side first, drizzle some oil, turn and brown the other side. Remove them on to a plate. Fry the pieces in 2 batches.
4).Serve this spicy brinjal chops as side dish for rice preparations / as a starter.
Tip:
You can prepare them in Air fryer using minimum oil.
