Crispy raw banana snack in Air fryer

This tasty, crispy snack / side dish for Sambar/curd rice etc is prepared in Air fryer using only few drops of oil.
Ingredients:
Raw banana – 2, medium size, ( washed, peeled and cut into 1/4 to 1/2″ cubes, immersed in water to avoid discolouration)
Salt,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Corn flour – 3,Tablesp,
Rice flour – 1 Tablesp,
Haldi – 1/8 Tsp,
Chat masala or garam masala – 1/8 Tsp,
Pepper powder – A pinch,
Baking soda – A pinch,
Oil to grease the basket and to drizzle on the banana pieces,
Method :
1).Boil some water with little salt and drop the banana pieces. Let them be in boiling water for 2 minutes.Drain and keep aside.
2).Preheat the Air fryer for 5 minutes at 200 degree C.
3).Mix corn flour, rice flour, haldi, garam masala, chilli powder,baking soda and pepper powder. Drizzle few drops of oil over banana pieces in a mixing bowl and toss them gently. Sprinkle the masala powder mix over them and gently rub them with fingers so that the masala nicely coats the pieces.
4).Arrange the banana pieces over the greased basket of Air fryer and fry them for 15 to 18 minutes at 180 degree C. Turn the pieces once or twice during frying. Check and if necessary continue for another 5 minutes till they become crispy.
5).Serve them as tea time snack or side dish for rice prepartions.
Tip:
Mine is Philips Air fryer. Adjust the timings according to your fryer power levels.
