Quick appam batter preparation in Preethi chutney jar

This recipe appam is prepared with tablesp measurements.Batter will be ready in 7 to 10 minutes.Allow fermentation for 3hrs
Ingredients:
Cooked rice – 2 tablesp,
Raw rice washed and soaked for 2 hours – 8 tablesp,
Desiccated coconut powder – 2 tablesp,
Instant yeast – 2 big pinch,
Sugar – 2 big pinch,
Salt,
Water – 3 tablesp,
Oil for drizzling,
Method:
1).Put all the ingredients in chutney jar ( except salt and oil).
2).Grind the content to a fine paste by adding little water. Keep it for fermentation for 3 hrs/ over night.
3).If you are not in a hurry, next day morning check the consistancy of the batter. If necessary add little water.
4).Add salt and mix well.Heat appam pan, put a drop of oil and clean with a tissue paper.
5.Pour batter ( as for dosa ) swirl the appam pan so that the batter will spread to form lacy edges with thick centre.You can drizzle few drops of oil,allow it to cook for 1/2 minute.No need to turn over. Remove the appam on to a plate.
6).Prepare all the appam following the same procedure.
7).Enjoy healthy delicious appam with peanut chutney / any chutney/ or any masala gravy.
Tip:
This batter is enough for preparing 6 to 8 appams.
