Ingredients:
300 gms maida
3 tblsp tomato ketchup
1 tblsp white til
salt
1 tsp ajwain
oil to deep fry
Method:
1. Steam flour (tied in a cloth) in a idli cooker for 15mins.
2. Remove from fire and break lumps in the steamed flour.
3. Add salt, ketchup, til, ajwain and 1 tsp of hot oil. Add water to prepare into a tight dough and keep under wet cloth for about 15mins. Make thin chappathi’s out of the dough and cut them into diamonds and fry in medium hot oil to light golden in colour.
4. Let it cool and preserve them in a air tight container.
5. Serve with tea for evening snack.
