Crispy and Spicy Masala Peanuts in Microwave Oven
Ingradients:
Peanuts/Ground nuts-200Gms
Besan-2Tablesp
Fried Channa dal Powder-3Tablesp
Red Chilli Powder-1/2Tsp
Jeera Powder-1/4Tsp
Salt
Garam Masala-1/4Tsp
Very finely Chopped Coriander Leaves-1Tablesp
A pinch of Baking Soda
Oil-1Tablesp
Peeled and crushed Garlic-3 cloves(optional)
Method:
1) wipe groundnuts with a clean cloth(to remove any fine dust)Keep them aside in a bowl
2)Mix all ingredients along with 3to 4tablesp.of water.keep it aside
3)Spread the nuts in microsafe glass tray /wide shallow bowl and microhigh for 2 min.Cool them for a min.
4)Now mix masala and nuts very well so that all the nuts are coated with masala
5)Again spread the masala coated nuts in microsafe tray and microhigh for 5 to6min,stir and separate the nuts ,once after every 2 min
6)Check the crispness and remove from the oven.Cool and store in an air tight container.
7)These crispy peanuts are very tasty and can be prepared instantly.They keep fresh and crunchy even for 10days
8)For kids reduce or omit chilli powder.
9)The reason for step 3 :Usually outer masala gets cooked fast and inner nut will not get fried.
