Sesame and tender tamarind leaves chutney

This tangy and healthy chutney is prepared with tender tamarind leaves and white sesame / white til seeds. These tender leaves are available only for few months, usually from may /June for 3 to 4 months when there is flowering and fruiting .
Ingredients:
Tender tamarind leaves – 100 Gms,
Salt,
White til – 200 Gms,
Onion – 1 medium ,chopped roughly into pieces,
Green chilli – 10 if less spicy , ( reduce the no if very spicy ),
Jeera – 1/2 Tsp,
Peeled garlic cloves – 5 to 6,
Mustard seeds – 1/4 TSP,
Red chilli – 1,broken into pieces,
Curry leaves – few,
Oil – 2 Tablesp,
Chopped coriander leaves – 1Tsp,
Hing – A pinch,
Method:
1).Clean, wash the tamarind leaves and put them in collander to drain of water.
2).Heat a tsp of oil,fry chillies til they change colour.Add til and fry till you get nice aroma with change of colour.
3).Add tamarind leaves and fry for a minute.Add garlic and remove.
4).Blend the fried til mixture along with salt in a mixie to a smooth paste. Add chopped onion to the ground paste and pulse once. Remove the chutney into a bowl.
5).Heat the remaining oil,add hing, mustard seeds, jeera, curry leaves and red chilli. Fry them till mustard splutters. Add the tadka to the prepared chutney and Sprinkle coriander leaves and mix well.
6).Serve this mouth watering, healthy and tangy chutney with hot plain rice with littl desi ghee / break fast items like dosa/ idli/ upma etc.
