This recipe is little different from my previous recipe “Easy kheema cutlet”.
Ingredients:
Mutton kheema of lamb – 250 Gms,
Onion – 2, medium,chopped very fine,
Green chilli – 3, chopped very fine,
Red chilli powder – 1/3 Tsp,
Garam masala – 1/4 Tsp,
Finely chopped coriander leaves – 1 Tablesp,
Haldi – 1/8 Tsp,
Salt,
Eggs – 2,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 Tsp,
Channa Dal – 2 Tablespoons,( soaked for 1/2 hr ),
Oil to deep fry,
Dhania powder – 1/4 Tsp,
Jeera powder – 2 pinchs,
Method:
1).Cook kheema with little salt,haldi and just enough water till kheema becomes tender.
2).Grind the soaked channa dal to fine paste ,add kheema and grind again using pulse till you get course paste.
3).Add onions, chilli, chilli powder, dhania powder, jeera powder,garam masala and ginger garlic paste. Check and add salt.
4).Mix all the ingredients very well along with chopped coriander leaves .Lastly add eggs and blend well.
5).Make round vada and deep fry in oil under low medium heat till light golden in colour.
6).Remove vada on to a kitchen tissue to absorb excess oil if any. Serve as starter or snack or side dish with hot sambar and rice.
Tip:
Powder 2 cloves, 1/4″ cinnamon and add this to prepared dough to give extra flavour.
