Bhaji for Pav bread

Bhaji a street food recipe served with pav is almost like mashed kurma with lot of vegetables and very flavourful masala gravy cooked in butter oil combination.
Ingredients:
Potato – 2, medium, washed, peeled and cut int small cubes,
Fresh green peas or frozen peas – 30 Gms,
Onion – 1 medium, sliced fine,
Carrots – 1, medium, washed, peeled and cut into small cubes,
Tomato – 2, medium, cut into small pieces,
Capsicum – 2,medium, cut into small pieces,
Green chilli – 1, chopped fine,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Haldi – 2 pinches,
Salt
String Beans – 6 , chopped into small bits,
Pav bhaji masala – 1 and 1/2 Tablesp,
Chopped coriander – 2 Tablesp,
Butter – 2 Tablesp,
Oil – 1 Tablesp,
Method:
1).Boil potato, carrots, beans, capsicum and peas with little salt in pressure cooker with just enough water. Wait till 3 whistles.
2).When steam escapes, remove the lid and mash the vegetables with a potato masher.Keep it aside.
3).Heat oil + butter in a kadai add onions, chillies and fry till onion turns pink and soft.
4).Add ginger garlic paste ,fry till the raw smell disappears. Add tomato and cook till it becomes pulpy.
5).Add mashed vegetable mix. Stir well. Add chilli powder, haldi, pav bhaaji masala and salt.Mix well.
6).Add 250 ml of hot water and let it cook under low flame till gravy becomes thick. Sprinkle chopped coriander and mix well.If necessary add little hot water to adjust to get desired consistency.
7).Serve with onion rings and good amount of butter on pav breads.

Check salt before adding to gravy.
