Lobia Sundal(Alasanda Guggillu)

Ingredients:

250 g – lobia (soaked for 3 to 4 hrs)
1 – onion, chopped fine
2 – green chillies, chopped fine
6 – garlic cloves, peeled
1/2 tsp – mustard seeds
10 – curry leaves
1/2 tbsp – chopped coriander
1/4 tsp – jeera
1 – red chilli
1/2 tbsp – oil
salt

Method:

1.Cook soaked lobia with salt in a pressure cooker up to 3 whistles,
2.Drain the beans and keep aside.
3.Heat oil, add mustard seeds, cumin, red chilli, crushed garlic and curry leaves
4.Fry till the mustard seeds splutter, add onion & green chilli, fry till the onion becomes pink.
5.Add boiled lobia, mix well, check salt, sprinkle chopped coriander leaves, mix well and keep covered for 1 to 2 min
6.Remove and serve along with tea.
