Ingredients:
4 – drumsticks (lightly scrapped and cut into 3 to 4 inch pieces or about 20 in number)
2 – onions, cut into small pieces
2 – green chillies, cut into small pieces
1 tsp – red chilli powder
1/8 tsp – turmeric powder
Salt
2 tbsp – oil
6-8 cloves – garlic, peeled, crushed roughly
1 tbsp – white til, dry fried and powdered
1 tbsp – dessicated coconut powder
1/2 tbsp – coriander powder (dry fried and powdered)
2 tsp – chopped coriander leaves
Method:
1.Boil drumsticks in just enough water with salt and haldi till soft (not mashed).
2.Drain water; keep aside.
3.Heat oil, add onion, green chilli pieces and crushed garlic and a little salt.
4.Fry till onion becomes soft and pink.
5.Add dhania powder, red chilli powder and drumsticks and mix well.
6.Cook for 2 min under sim.
7.Sprinkle coconut powder, til powder and chopped coriander.
8.Mix well and fry for 1 or 2 min till the curry becomes dry.
9.Serve this with rice as side dish.
