Soft and spongy pakoda

This spongy and spicy pakodi / pakoda are pillowy soft and very tasty. In can be prepared in a jiffy.
Ingredients:
Besan – 150 gms,
Green chilli – 2,chopped fine,
Onion – 2, medium, sliced very fine,
Ginger grated – 1 tsp,
Chopped curry leaves – 1 tsp,
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 tsp,
Ajwain – 2 big pinch,
Salt,
Fresh curd – 1 Tablesp,
Baking soda – 2 pinch,
Course powder of 2 cloves and 1/2 inch cinnamon.
Oil to fry,
Method:
1).In a mixing bowl take all the ingredients except oil. Mix them very well with clean hand, add water in batches to prepare fluffy and smooth batter.
2).Check salt and drop small portions into medium hot oil. Fry them till they turn light golden. Remove them on to a kitchen tissue to absorb excess oil if any.
3).Serve them as tea time snack.
Tip:
For variation you can add finely chopped 2 ajwain leaves in place of ajwain. ( If available ).
