Easy cabbage curry in pressure cooker

Easy and quick cabbage curry in pressure cooker.
Ingredients:
Firm and healthy cabbage head l- approximately 300 gms,
Onion – 1 medium, sliced fine,
Green chilli – 4 chopped fine,
Red chilli – 1 broken into 2,
Salt,
Jeera – 1/2 Tsp,
Mustard seeds – 1/4 Tsp,
Curry leaves – A sprig,
Chopped coriander leaves – 1 Tablesp,
Spilt urad dal – 1/2 Tsp,
Channa dal – 2 Tsp,
Peeled and crushed garlic cloves – 6,
Hing – A pinch ,
Fresh or desiccated coconut powder- 2 Tablesp,
Oil – 2 Tablesp,
Method:
1).Wash and grate cabbage fine. Keep it aside.
2).Heat oil in a pressure cooker ( preferably 3 litres )add mustard seeds, dals, red chilli,hing, jeera, garlic, curry leaves and fry till dals change colour and mustard crackles.
3).Now add onion, green chilli and fry till onion becomes soft.
4).Add grated cabbage along with salt. Mix well,sprinkle 3 tablespoons of water, pressure cook for 2 Whistles.
5).Once the steam escapes open the cooker and sprinkle coconut powder and chopped coriander.Mix well and close the cooker for a minute. Remove the lid and serve as side dish for rice preparations/ rotis. It can also be used as stuffing for parathas.
Tip:
Keep an eye on flame. It should be medium low.
