Crispy Arbi chops with maggi magic masala

Ingredients:
Arbi/ colocasia/ chama gadda (Telugu ) medium size – 300 Gms,
Salt,
Suji/ semolina – 1 Tablesp,
Oil – 3to 4 Tablesp,
Maggi magic masala – 1 packet,
Haldi – 1/8 Tsp,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/4 Tsp,
Besan – 1 and 1/2 Tablesp,
Rice flour – 1 and 1/2 Tablesp,
Chopped coriander leaves – 1 Tablesp.
Method:
1).Boil arbi in pressure cooker with little salt for 3 whistles. When the steam escapes remove the lid and drain the arbi.Peel and keep them aside.
2).Mix all the masalas and powders except oil.After blending the masalas add a tsp of oil and a tablesp of water. Mix very well.
3).Take each peeled arbi on left palm and gently press it with right palm into a flat disc. Prepare all the arbi into flat discs.
4).Smear the masala paste to each arbi piece. Keep all the arbi pieces ready for frying.
5).Shallow fry the arbi discs using oil. When one side is nicely browned, turn it and fry the other side also.
5).Serve them as side dish with rice preparations and you can serve even as snack also.
Tip:
a).Use non stick pan for frying.
b).Using Maggi magic masala gives very nice flavour and taste to arbi chops.
