Spicy Peanut snack

Ingredients:
Peanuts/ ground nuts – 300 gms,
Salt,
Green chilli – 6to 7,
Jeera – 1/3 Tsp,
Besan/ gram flour – 120 gms,
Rice flour – 1 Tablesp,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/4 Tsp,
Baking soda – 1/8 Tsp,
Cloves – 2,cinnamon – 1/4″ piece, ( crush these two into course powder).
Chopped coriander leaves – 1Tablesp,
Chopped curry leaves – 1Tablesp,
Oil to fry,
Method:
1).Wash the nuts once and keep them in collander. Keep it aside.
2).Grind jeera, green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves into a fine paste. Add ginger garlic paste, clove cinnamon powder and pulse the blender once. Remove the paste and keep it aside.
3).Take besan, rice flour, salt, baking soda in a big plate and mix all the ingredients thoroughly. Add the ground paste and add water little by little to prepare a thick soft dough. It should not be very thick or very thin. Check salt.
4).Drop the nuts into paste. Mix the nuts and paste very well ( with clean hand ) so that each and every nut is coated with masala paste.
5).Drop paste coated nuts in oil ( in small portions at a time -one or two nuts each time ) fry till they turn light golden in colour. Remove them on to a tissue paper to absorb excess oil if any.
Serve these crispy spicy peanuts with evening tea.
Tip:
You can fry them in Air fryer/ Microwave.
