Mung dal vada

Ingredients:
Mung dal with out skin – 200 Gms, ( washed, soaked for 2 hrs ),
Urad dal with out skin – 2 Tablesp, ( washed,soaked for two hrs ),
Salt,
Onion – 1, medium, cut into small pieces,
Green chilli – 4, chopped fine,
Ginger – 1/4″ Piece, chopped fine,
Curry leaves – 6 to 8, chopped fine,
Chopped coriander leaves – 1 Tablesp,
Jeera – 1/2 Tsp,
Powder 2 cloves and 1/4″ cinnamon,
Sounf – 2 Pinchs,( optional ),
Oil to deep fry,
Method:
1).Drain water from dals and grind them in mixie into a course paste.
2).Add all the ingredients except oil. Mix well.
3).Make small thin rounds and drop them into oil. Deep fry them under medium flame to nice golden in colour.
4).Remove them on to a kitchen paper to absorb excess oil if any.
5).serve these Protein Rich snack with any chutney or tomato sauce.
