It is a crispy and tasty dosa prepared using tender bhendi, with out much fermentation.
Ingredients:
Raw rice – 200 Gms,
Fresh coconut gratings – 2 Tablesp,
Green chilli – 1 very finely chopped,
Salt,
Tender bhendi – 3 cut into very thin pieces,
Curd – 2 Tablesp,( optional ),
Jeera – 1/4 Tsp,
Oil to prepare dosa,
Chopped coriander leaves – 2 Tsp,( optional ),
Method:
1).Wash and soak rice for 2 hrs.
2).Drain the water from rice and grind it with coconut along with salt to a fine paste.Add little water/ curd while grinding.
3).Add bhendi pieces, jeera, chopped coriander, chilli pieces and leave it for an hour.
4).Check for dosa batter consistancy and add water if necessary.
5).Prepare crisp dosa by spreading thinly like usual dosa.Sprinkle little oil while making them.
6).Serve with ground nut chutney/ coconut chutney.
Tip:
You can use par boiled rice and raw rice in equal proportions.
