Spicy Bajji mirchi fry in Air fryer

This mirchi fry can quickly and easily be prepared in Air fryer with minimum oil.
Ingredients:
Bhajji mirapa kayalu / large size chilli with less pungency ( usually used for famous Mirchi bhajji in Andhra area ) – 8,
For masala – dry fry the following,
Dhania seeds – 1 Tablesp,
Jeera – 1/2 Tsp,
Red chilli – 4,
peanuts – 2 Tablespoons, ( dry fried ),
Garlic cloves – 4, and make a course powder out of these 5 ingredients,
Garam masala – 1/4 Tsp,
Salt,
Oil – 2 to 3 Tsp,
Method:
1).wash and wipe the chilli.Make a vertical slit on each chilli. Keep them aside.
2).Mix garam masala, salt and peanut mix very well with a spoon of oil and a spoon of water.
3).Fill masala mix in all the chilli.Keep them aside.
4).Preheat the air fryer for 6 minutes at 200 degree C.
5).Smear the air fryer wire basket with little oil. Arrange the stuffed mirchi on the basket .Sprinkle few drops of oil over them along with remaining masala.
6).Fry them at 180 degree C.for 8 minutes.Shake the basket once or twice in between and sprinkle the remaining oil over them.
7).If necessary continue frying for 2 more minutes.
Tip:
A).For variation you can Change the stuffing with til / thinly sliced onion / fried Channa dal flour etc.
B).As they are less pungent you can have them as snack also.
C).These chilli are best for mirchi ka salan.
