In this snack we are using combination of healthy ragi flour with wheat flour in place of all purpose flour.
1Ingredients:
Ragi flour – 1 Cup,
Wheat flour – 1/4 cup,
Salt,
Ajwain – 1/4 Tsp,
White til – 2 Tsp,
Oil to fry,
Method:
1).Take both the flours in a mixing bowl , add salt, ajwain, 2 tablesp of hot oil and til. Mix well to form a smooth but little stiff dough by adding water little by little.Knead well and keep it covered under a moist cloth for 15 min.
2).After 15 minutes divide the dough into 3 to 4 balls.
3).Make thick chapati with dough ball and cut it into 1/2 to 1″ squares or diamonds. Fry them under low medium heat until they turn light brown and crispy.
4).Remove them on a paper napkin to absorb excess oil if any. Cool and preserve them in an air tight container. Serve them with tea.
