Spicy balls with wheat flour/ palakayalu

These spicy balls/ palakayalu are prepared with wheat flour instead of riceflour.
Wheat flour – 250Gms,
Ajwain – 1/4 Tsp,
White til-2 Tsp,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Hot oil / butter – 2 Tsp,
1).Steam the wheat flour by placing it in a cloth on an idli plate. See that the cloth completely covers the flour. Steam the flour for 8to 10 min.
2).Remove from Steamer and break the lumps in flour.
3).Add salt, ajwain, chilli powder,til and lastly hot oil. Prepare a smooth and stiff dough.Keep it for 20 minutes under a damp cloth. Pp
4).Knead the dough once and prepare small balls out of the dough (just bigger than peanuts).
5).Fry the balls under low medium heat till light golden in colour.
6).Remove them on a kitchen paper and store them in an air tight container.Serve them as tea timesnack/ in lunchbox for kids.
