All purpose flour/ Maida – 3 Tablesp,
Corn flour – 2 Tablesp,
Powdered sugar – 3 Tablesp,
Margarine – 2 Tablesp,
Vanilla essence – Few drops,
Baking powder – 3/4 TSP,
Milk – 1/2 to 1 Tablesp,
Pea nuts/ Ground nuts – 5 Tablesp,( dry fried and husk removed ),
Walnuts and cashew nuts 1 Tablesp each,( optional ),
1).Make a course powder out of the nuts.Keep it aside.
2).Seive the flours along with baking powder.Add nuts powder and mix well.Keep it aside.
3).In a separate bowl beat powdered sugar and margarine till creamy and fluffy.
4).Add flour mix and prepare a soft dough by adding milk .( Do not make it into a paste ).Preheat the oven at 180 degree C.
5).Put teaspoon fulls on a parchment paper on a baking tray.Bake the cookies for 6 to 7 min.Cool and store in a air ight container.
6).Serve these very tasty and crunchy cookies with tea.
You can change the combination of nuts as per your taste.
