Boiled Vaal beans snack/ Anapa ginjala snack

This snack is very popular in Andhra pradesh especially in Rayala Seema region where these beans are available in plenty in their season.The beans are removed from pods and used in variety of dishes like sundal, curries, masala gravies, chats and rice preparations etc.These are rich in proteins and many other nutrients. These beans are leisurely enjoyed with tea just like boiled ground nuts.
Ingredients:
Vaal beans ( in pods) – 1/2 K.g
Salt ,
Water to boil the beans.
Method:
1).Wash the Vaal pods in plenty of water.
2).Cook them in pressure cooker with little salt for 4 whistles.
3).Remove the beans and enjoy with tea.
