This crispy snack is prepared with cheese and flours.
Ingredients:
All purpose flour/ maida – 150 GMs,
Gram flour – 50 GMs,
Cheese – 40 GMs,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 TSP,
Jeera powder – 1/4 TSP,
Black pepper powder – 1/4 TSP,
Origano – 2 Pinches,
Milk – enough to bind the dough
Salt,
Method:
1).seive both the flours together with salt and add cheese.Mix well so that it resembles bread crumbs.
2).Add remaining spices and mix well.
3).Add milk, little at a time and prepare a soft dough.Keep it aside for 15 min.
4).Devide the dough into 4 equal parts .Make each into thin roti and cut it into triangles.
5).Fry them in hot oil under low medium heat till light golden in colour.
6).Remove the triangles on a tissue paper to absorb any excess oil .
7).Store them in an air tight container and serve them with tea.
Tip:
a).I used 2 slices of Amul cheese ( weighes 20 gms each ).The slices are cut into small pieces and used.
b).You can add any other herbs if you prefer.
