Raw plantain chips

These plantain chips are equally good and tasty like potato chips.Preparation of these chips is easy when compared to potato chips preparation.
Ingredients:
Healthy, firm and greenish raw plantains ( with out any blemish ) – 2,
Salt,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 TSP,( crushed pepper powder can also be used ).
Oil to deep fry,
Method:
1).Wash and peel the plantains.
2).Heat oil to high flame and reduce it little. By using a chips slicer ,directly drop the slices into oil and fry them slowly under medium low flame.
3).Remove the chips when they turn nice golden in colour.Collect them in a wide bowl.
4).Sprinkle salt and chilli powders and toss the bowl well so that the chips are nicely coated with the masalas.
5).When they are cool preserve them in an air tight container.
6).Serve as snack / side dish for rice preparations.
Tipto:
Try to smear little oil on your palms to prevent staining while handling plantains .
