Egg less Bread crumbs cake in Air fryer


This cake is prepared in an Air fryer with maida and bread crumbs with out eggs.I used a tumbler of 100 ml capacity.( = one Measure ), ( Take heaped )
Ingredients:
All purpose flour/ maida – 3 measures,
Bread crumbs – 2 measures,(cut the edges and powder the bread slices fine in a mixie ),
Powdered sugar – one and half measure,
Vanilla essence – 1/2 Tsp,
Baking powder – 1 Tsp,
Baking soda – 1/2 Tsp,
Venegar – 1 Tsp,
Milk – 2 measures + extra quantity if required to prepare the batter,
Oil – 60 ml,
Almond slivers and cashew bits – one and half Tablesp,
Dessicated coconut powder (like shavings )- 1/2 Tablesp,( optional ).
Method:
1).Preheat the air fryer for 4 minutes at 200 degree C .
2).Sift maida with crumbs,baking powder and baking soda.Keep it aside.
3).Add oil and milk ( 2 Measures ) to the powdered sugar in mixie . Run the mixie for 1/2 min,give a pause and again run the mixie till you get smooth flowing mix.( needs few seconds ).
4).Take the dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.Add the wet ingredients slowly little at a time stirring continuously so that both dry and wet ingredients blend together well.If the batter is thick add some more milk and adjust the consistancy.
5).Add vanilla essence and venegar .Mix well.
6).Pour this in a greased round cake tin ( lined with a butter paper ) and Sprinkle nuts etc liberally over the batter .Tap once and bake for 15 minutes at 180 degree C and another 5 to 10 minutes at 160 degree C .Check once or twice during baking.
7).Check with a tooth pick or skewer inserted into the centre of the cake .If it comes out clean cake is ready.If necessary continue baking for few more minutes.
Now the awesome and very tasty egg less cake is ready to be served along with tea or coffee.
Tip:
a).Reduce sugar quantity if using milk bread or sweet bread.
b).You can use this batter to prepare cupcakes.
c).Instead of mixie you can do the mixing manually.
