This is a tea time snack prepared in Air fryer.
Ingredients:
Channa dal – 200 Gms,washed and soaked in water (with 1/4 tsp of baking soda) for 4 hrs,
Salt – very little,
Red chilli powder – 1/4 Tsp or less,
Oil – 1 Tsp.
Method:
1).Drain soaked dal and pat dry on a kitchen towel.Keep it aside.
2).Preheat the air fryer for 4 minutes at 200 degree C.
3).Mix all masalas with 3/4 tsp of oil and gently rub this masala with Channa dal.
4).Grease a non stick or alluminium pan with little oil and spread the dal on it.
5).keep the pan in air fryer for 15 minutes at 180 degree C.Shake the pan once, in between.
6).Check the dal for crispy ness,if necessary continue frying for 3 to 4 more minutes.
Tip:
You can use butter paper (with holes made on it ,for good air circulation ).Fry the above quantity in 2 batches.
