Cabbage and Besan Curry

Cabbage and Besan Curry.

A Simple and less Spicy Dry Curry.

Ingredients:

Cabbage-400gms.

Besan/Gram flour-150gms
.
Dhania powder-1tablesp.

Red chilli powder-1tsp.

Green chillies-3,chopped fine.

Mustard seeds-1/2tsp.

Jeera-1/2tsp.

Oil-5tablesp.

Coriander leaves-chopped-1tablesp.

Curry patta leaves-6to8.

Salt.

Method:

1).wash and grate cabbage .Sqeeze moisture and keep it

aside.

2).Heat 3tablesp of oil,fry besan till light brown in

colour with nice aroma.

3).Remove it into a plate.

4).Heat remaining oil in the same pan,add mustard seeds,

jeera,curry leaves and fry till mustard crackles.

5).Add green chillies,fry for a min and add cabbage.

Cook under low heat for 2to3min with lid on.

6).Remove lid ,add dhania powder,chilli powder and salt.

7).Mix well and fry till cabbage is soft and dry
.
8).Add fried besan and mix throughly.

9)Sprinkle coriander leaves.

10).Serve this simple curry as side dish.

Tip:
you can sprinkle a tablesp.of juice of a lime if you want it a bit

tangy.
