Ingredients:
Firm healthy cauliflower head – 300 to 350 Gms,
Haldi – 1/4 Tsp,
Red chilli powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/3 Tsp,
Salt,
Corn flour – 3 Tablesp,
Besan – 1 Tablesp,
Rice flour – 2 Tablesp,
Oil – 1 Tablesp + 1 Tsp,
Garam masala – 2 pinch,
Chopped coriander for garnish,
Method:
1).Wash the flower under running tap water. Cut it into bite size flowrites and keep them immersed in water with some haldi for 10 minutes. Boil some water with little salt, drop the flowrites in it and let it boil for 2 minutes. Drain and blanch them in cold water.keep them aside.
2).Preheat air fryer for 5 minutes at 200 degree C.
3).Mix all the masalas with some water along with 1 Tablesp of oil to make a paste or marinade. Drop the flowrites into the paste and rub the paste gently over them so that the masala nicely coats them.
4).Arrange them on a non stick plate or greased alluminium plate so that they do not over lap. Air fry the cauliflower for 15 minutes at 160 degree C. Drizzle little oil over them after 7 to 8 minutes. Do not forget to stir them 2 to 3 times during frying time.
5).Serve the fry as side dish for curd rice / sambar rice / any rice preparations /as a snack too.
Tip:
a).I used metal plate in the air fryer basket so that I need not have to clean bottom chamber of air fryer every time I use it.
b).Mine is Philips air fryer. You can change your temprature settings as per your convenience in your air fryer.
