Sugar free Kalakand for Diabetics and dieters

This delicious , mouth melting sweet Kalakand is prepared with sugar substitute. Hence the diabetics and dieters can enjoy this sweet with out any guilt ,of course in smaller portions.
Milk – 1Litre, ( preferably full fat milk ),
Lime juice – 1 Tablesp, ( Add 3 tablesp water and mix well ),
Sugar free powder ( sugar substitute sucralose ) 1 and 1/2 tsps,nj
Almond slivers and cashew bits – 2 Tsp each,
Salt – A pinch,
Cardamom powder – 1/4 Tsp,
1).Heat milk and start stirring continuously while it is boiling under high flame.
2).Scrape the malai at the edges and mix with boiling milk.
3).When milk is reduced to half of its quantity add sugar substitute and stir well to dissolve it.
4).Add diluted lime juice slowly while stirring continuously till milk starts to cuddle .
5).Immediately stop adding lime juice and continue stirring till the cuddled milk forms a mass . Add 1/4 tsp of cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.
6).Mix well and pour the mass in a greased tray. Tap the tray and press the sweet evenly. Garnish with almond slivers and cashew bits. Cool and cut into desired shapes when little warm.
If you want to prepare with sugar , add 100 to 125 gms as per your taste.
