Egg less Jowar flour cake in Pan

This healthy cake is prepared with jowar flour and jaggery .It is very tasty, egg less and can be prepared in a pan.
Ingredients:
Jowar flour – 1Cup,
Jaggery powder – 3/4 Cup,
Oil – 1/4 Cup,
Cocoa powder – 2 Tablesp,( optional ),
Baking powder – 1 TSP,
Baking soda – 1/2 Tsp,
Milk – 100 mi,
Vinegar – 1 TSP,
Vanilla essence – 1/4 Tsp,
Almond slivers – 1 Tablesp,
Salt – A pinch,
Measuring cups,
Method:
1).Sieve the flour with baking powder, baking soda ,salt ,cocoa powder and keep it aside. Mix vinegar in milk and keep it aside,
3).Melt jaggery with little water and prepare a thick liquid.Strain this liquid to remove any dust particles.
4).In a separate bowl mix milk ,oil and jaggery liquid.
5).Mix dry ingredients to the wet mixture to make cake batter of dropping consistency .Add vanila essence and mix well.
6).pre heat a thick bottomed pan with a small stand for 7 to 8 min.Pour the batter into a greased baking tray ( which can comfortably be fit into the pan.) Tap the tray once or twice to remove air bubbles in the batter.Bake for 30 min.first 10 min under high flame and remaining period under medium high flame .Cover the pan with a tight lid. Remove from fire when the needle inserted into cake comes out clean .Sprinkle almond slivers over the cake.
7).Cool , cut into pieces and serve.
Tip:
This healthy cake can be served even to diaters and diabetics also, as the jaggery used in this cake has low glycemic index.
