
Ingredients:
Palak/ palakoora in telugu – 75 gms, ( remove hard stems, wash throughlly and chop leaves and tender stems ),
Onion – 2, medium, chopped fine,
Green chilli – 4,chopped fine,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp,
Besan – 175 gms,
Rice flour – 3 tablesp,
Suji – 1 tablesp,
Jeera – 1/4 tsp,
Course powder of 2 cloves, 1/2 inch cinnamon,
Peeled and crushed garlic – 5,
Salt,
Chopped curry leaves – 2 tsp,
Chopped coriander leaves – 1 tablesp,
Sounf – 2 pinch,( optional ),
Ajwain – 2 pinch,
Oil to deep fry,
Method:
1).In a mixing bowl add 2 tsp of hot oil. Add salt, ginger garlic paste, jeera, ajwain, sounf, cloves cinnamon powder and mix well.
2).Add chilli, onion, gently rub into masalas. Add chopped palak, curry leaves, coriander leaves and mix lightly.
3).Sprinkle besan, rice flour, suji, over them and mix throughly so that all ingredients are blended well.
4).Drop small portions of this dough into medium hot oil and fry them till light golden in colour. Remove them on to a kitchen tissue.
5).Serve this crispy and healthy snack along with evening tea or coffee.
Tip:
You can add cashew pieces to the dough so that it gives extra crunch and taste.
