Healthy Curry leaves fritters / pakoda

This is a quick, simple snack with besan and healthy curry leaves along with regular pakoda ingredients onion etc.These leaves are rich in nutrients which are beneficial for controlling cholesterol, may help in diabetics, helps in digetion, aids in promoting hair growth etc.It enhances the flavour and taste in tadka.
Ingredients:
Besan/ gram flour – 250 gms,
Rice flour – 3 tablesp,
Curry leaves – hand ful of tender leaves,
Onion – 2, medium size,sliced fine,
Green chilli – 4, chopped fine,
Ginger garlic paste – 1/2 tsp,
Salt,
Course powder of 2 cloves, 1/2 inch cinnamon,
A pinch of sounf (optional),
Oil to deep fry,
Method:
1).Pick, wash curry leaves and keep them aside. Chop once, if the leaves are big. ( Do not make fine ).
2).Take a mixing bowl, add all ingredients ( except oil, besan, rice flour) and mix very well. Now add besan, rice flour and a tablesp of hot oil. Mix well.
3).No need to add water unless the dough is very dry. If necessary sprinkle few drops of water and prepare a moist tight dough.
4).Drop small portions of dough into oil and fry till light golden in colour. Remove the pakoda on to a tissue paper. Serve as snack with evening tea or coffee.
