Egg less Fruit and nuts cake

In this cake we are using apple puree and dates along with nuts.
Ingredients:
All purpose flour/ maida – 1 Cup,
Powdered sugar – 1/2 Cup,
Chopped dates – 8,
Apple puree – 1/2 Cup,
Cashew nut pieces/ pumpkin seeds – 2 Tablesp,
Baking soda – 1/4 Tsp,
Baking powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Lime juice – 1 TSP,
Oil/ butter – 1/4 cup,( I used rice bran oil ),
Cinnamon powder – 1/2 Tsp,
Milk – 4 to 5 Tablesp or as per requirement,

Method:
1),Peel and cut apple into cubes.Add just enough water and boil the pieces till tender.Drain water if any and make puree out of apple pieces and keep it aside.
2).Preheat oven at 180 degree C .
3).Seive the flour, powdered sugar, baking soda, baking powder and add dates along with nuts. Mix well.
4).Take apple puree, oil in a mixing bowl and bend well.
5).Start adding flour mixture to apple mixture.Mix well and add milk to the batter ,little by little stirring with out forming any lumps.
6).Grease a b aking tray ,dust with little flour.Remove excess flour and pour the batter into baking tray.Tap the tray once or twice.
7).Bake at 180 degree C for 15 to 20 min.Remove the tray when toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.Cool.
8).Serve with evening tea.
Tip:
You can just keep the apple pieces ( arranged in a microwave bowl)in microwave oven and microwave high for 4 min.( Stir once in between ).
