Vaamu Aaku Perugu patchadi
This perugu patchadi/raitha with ajwain/vaamu is very flavourful and healthy as this herb has got lot of medicinal benefits
Ingredients:
Vaamu leaves-Medium,6to7
Fresh Curds-500ml
Jeera-2Pinches
Fresh Grated coconut/dessicated coconut powder-2Tablesp
Salt
Onion-2,Medium,sliced fine
Green Chillies-2,
Chopped Coriander Leaves-1Tablesp
For Tadka:
Oil-1Tablesp
Mustard seeds-2 Pinches
Red Chilli-1
Curry patta leaves-6to8
Method:
1)Wash vaamu leaves ,fry them in a few drops of oil along with jeera and green chillies (Prick them before frying)for a min.
2)Grind it with coconut into a fine paste and keep it aside
3)Churn the curds well. Add onion ,salt,ajwain paste and mix very well
4)Prepare tadka ,cool a little and pour it on the curds
5)Mix well.Garnish with coriander.
6)Serve with any rice preparation.
